My knee problems were deteriorating quickly when I decided to consult Chris Bailey privately. From the word go, he listened to my concerns, arranged necessary investigation to confirm the degree of osteo-arthritis present and, following this, discussed my options. After I had decided to opt for a total knee replacement, he explained clearly what this would involve. Throughout the process, I have felt fully involved in my care and completely confident in Chris Bailey’s skill as a surgeon. If and when my other knee requires an operation, I will not hesitate to consult him again.

I have suffered with knee pain for many years. I was fortunate to be funded by my healthcare provider Benenden for surgery on my left knee where I had sustained a nasty torn meniscus following a fall onto concrete steps. Mr. Bailey and his team explained the treatment I would receive very professionally and on the day of surgery I felt extremely relaxed and very well looked after from admission to discharge at The Nuffield Wessex Hospital. Since discharge, I have also received post-operative physiotherapy and am currently feeling the benefits of surgery whilst undertaking daily exercise routines. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Chris Bailey and his friendly team.

My experience of the partial Knee replacement that I recently had, has been extremely successful. I currently do not experience any pain whilst walking or resting, I was often woken at night, which was disturbing my sleeping pattern. Dr Bailey explained the procedure I was having in an informative way with no jargon. He was happy to answer any concerns no mater how trivial. The care I received at the time has been first class & in a timely manor, with appoints running on time. The after care post surgery has also be fantastic.
